Bringing Back True Fantasy Live Online

True Fantasy Live Online was an MMORPG in development for the Xbox by Level-5. The game supported a fantastic amount of cel-shading and would be a console MMO of unmatched potential. The game would allow for about 3,000 characters per server with fully customizable options.





The game had been in production for about two and a half years and was sadly canceled on June 2nd, 2004. The game was considered to be "fully playable" (according to Microsoft) and near completion was scrapped due to the lack of voice chat in game. For the time it would have been very hard to get voice chat on an MMO and to this day a lot of MMOs do not support it except for an external program (Ventrilo TeamSpeak, etc...).





In 2008 (February 15, 2008), CEO Akihiro Hino, stated that he would love to work on this product again but did not give any indication on whether it would be in production again or not.





Due to the way that Level-5 and Microsoft parted there is thought that they will never work together again and that Level-5 plans to work only on the Playstation 3. With this game having gone so far it the intention of this petition to get back up and running and be the premiere MMO on the Playstation 3.

If you would love to see this game revived and placed on the Playstation 3, please sign the petition and give Level-5 an incentive to bring this one back from the gaming abyss.
