Call For A Constitutional Convention

Article V of the United States Constitution provides that, "on the application of the legislatures of two thirds of the several states," Congress "shall call a convention for proposing amendments." Before becoming law, any amendments produced by such a convention would then need to be ratified by three-quarters of the states.
This petition is directed to the legislatures of the several states demanding that a convention be called to reconfirm the Constitution, reassert the primacy of the states, and to limit the federal government to those powers, and only those powers, delegated to it by the specific wording of the Constitution.
By signing below, I am directing my state legislator to begin the process of holding a vote supporting a constitutional convention of the states for the purposes described above, and to begin to work with sister states for that purpose.
