We, the undersigned members and alumni of the New York Medical College community, affirm as follows:
1. We support the right of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) students to organize an independent student group, with the same rights and benefits as other student groups on campus.
2. We believe that education in LGBT health topics at New York Medical College should be as good or better than that offered at other US schools of medicine, public health and medical sciences.
3. We call on the administration of NY Medical College to affirm the essential dignity and equal worth of all members of the New York Medical College community, regardless of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, age, physical abilities, sex, sexual orientation or gender identity.
