CANCELIZATION OF THE GLENN BECK PROGRAM

On March 10th, 2009, a disillusioned youth named Michael McClendon went on a shooting spree in South Alabama throughout the towns of Kinston and Samson. As a result of that rampage, ten People were killed. McClendon then met his end at Reliable Metal Products in Geneva, Al.

Later that week, on a segment of the GLENN BECK PROGRAM that aired on the Fox News Channel on March 12, Beck, along with his guest Bill O'Reilly, made commentary in regards to the South Alabama shootings. Beck defended the actions of McClendon, yet also unwittingly justified the deaths of ten people. Such irresponsible, inconsiderate use of the media cannot be tolerated. Moreover, the memories of the victims, their surviving family members and the residents of Geneva County, AL will not be subject to such intolerance.

This petition is created in response to the comments made on and by THE GLENN BECK PROGRAM regarding the events on March 10th, 2009 in South Alabama. This is a request to both the Fox News Channel, News Corporation and any radio outlets that broadcasts the GLENN BECK PROGRAM to call for its immediate cancellation.

In addition, this petition also demands that Bill O'Reilly to be reprimanded for his participation on the 3/12/09 segment of THE GLENN BECK PROGRAM.
