This petition was made because I, along with others, think that the show LIZZIE MCGUIRE, starring Hillary Duff should be cancelled. The reason for this is because this show is promoting conformity and peer pressure. The star of the show does things to be more POPULAR and she strictly says that popularity is the upmost important thing. With her outfits being "stylish", they are also teaching the younger audiences, that are still in grammar school, to dress in that so called "stylish" way. Although it may seem hip to her because she is a teenager, but the directors should also remember that this is on the Disney Channel and that there are younger viewers besides teenagers watching the Disney Channel in the afternoons. The producers and directors of this show should stop filming or make drastic changes. Even if this show may seem very cool, the main thing is that she is promoting CONFORMITY...the things she does to be popular, for people (especially young men) to like her. By signing this petition, you agree also that this show should be changed or better in fact, cancelled. Thank you.

i think that is a bad idea because "lizzie mcguire"is a good show even though im not a big fan of hillary duff but dont punish the viewers for watching something they truly enjoy watching. Thanx for listening
