Do you need a special security cordon to live your life?
If you dont, why should your elected leaders?
They are obviously doing things they shouldnt be, so they are scared of the repercussions. If you rid them of the baggage of security they will start doing the things they should be doing being responsible to the people they represent and serving the common interest. That is the principle of democracy. And it is time we demanded our rights as citizens in a democracy.
Indias problems we are told by our elected leaders are complex. True. We are told the solutions are complex. False. The solutions become complicated because our elected leaders try to balance vested interests as do their jobs without concern for their true masters we the people of India.
The real solution lies in our elected leaders doing their jobs right. Not hiding behind security cordons. If you and I can live our lives (and the fear of repercussions helps us live them within the law for the most part) why shouldnt our politicians be encouraged to serve us better?
Let all Indians unite in a one-point agenda to clean up the country.
REMOVE SECURITY FROM AROUND INDIAS POLITICIANS.
Rationale:
1. People who serve the people should not need protection from the people
2. If they need protection they shouldnt do the job they have chosen to do
3. Those who need security are probably not doing the right thing anyway
VOTE NOW and tell your elected leaders to do the right thing by you so they dont need security .
If you are happy that your elected leader needs the security protection then you dont need to do anything else make a statement as a proud Indian do the right thing and sign off NOW
