Charlotte is a great professional sports city with an impressive skyline, museums, performing arts, and cultural events. We do fit the profile of a Super Bowl city and should be able to host the Super Bowl under the NFL rules.
Charlotte is also a city that can handle a large number of visitors, fairly easy with over 9.4 million visitors each year. Charlotte is no stranger to hosting big events being the home of Lowe's Motor Speedway, one of NASCAR's premier venues. This venue features a seating capacity of 120,000. The venue hosts a number of races, including the Coca-Cola 600, the UAW-GM Quality 500 and the Winston Select. The Coca-Cola 600 is the second largest single day sporting event in the world. So you see Charlotte is use to having and entertaining a large number of visitors with experience, so well have no problems with food and lodging. As far as Bank of America stadium goes, it was specifically designed for football and is one of the biggest stadiums in the league as far as seating capacity goes with 73,298 seats, and one of the finest in the league in design. The stadium features many unique elements, such as massive arches and towers at the entries. It doesnt hurt that Bank of America stadium is also one of the most liked stadiums among the players in the NFL.
So we the undersigned, would like you to please consider strongly that Charlotte NC and the Bank of America stadium be added to the list of Super Bowl cities!
