CHS DDR Team

We are Commack High School students that would like to see a Dance Dance Revolution (DDR hereafter) club or team in our school. Although we may not be traditional athletes and may not have any interest in the existing teams in our school, DDR does require skill and practice, like any other talent or sport, and we feel that a DDR team is necessary for DDR players. DDR is a great way to get nontraditional athletes, people who lead sedentary lives, and people who are just not athletically inclined to get up and moving. An organized DDR team in our school would allow us to teach each others how to play, help each other to play better, and learn a new skill, improve coordination, and get a great workout, all while having loads of fun. Everyone who has signed this petition strongly believes in this cause and will be a dedicated member of this aforementioned team; we will show up at weekly meetings, encourage good sportsmanship, and maintain a good attitude while helping each other to play our best.
