Clean Up the Wreck of the MV Miner

The wreckage of the MV Canadian Miner poses an environmental hazard to a protected wilderness area. The Governments of Nova Scotia and Canada cannot abrogate their ethical and moral responsibility to clean up this wreckage. Historically, the people of Cape Breton have been the victims of corporations that have perpetrated environmental devastation on the land, water and air poisoning the people and the other living beings that call this region home. We cannot allow these environmental injustices to continue. By signing this petition you are letting our elected leaders know that the people will not tolerate inaction on the MV Canadian Miner and you demand that a solution be found before damage is done to an environmentally sensitive and important place.
