We are a group of residents from Clongriffin, Balgriffin, Grange Abbey, The Coast, Baldoyle and surrounding areas, who are very excited about and eagerly await news of the opening of the Superquinn anchor store planned in our brand new shopping centre at Clongriffin, Dublin 13.
After some of us have contacted you individually, we have learned that Superquinn are reviewing all new developments in line with the current trading environment. The company's reticence is understandable but for Superquinn to continue and open as planned would be a significant boost for the area. Just as importantly, we also believe it would be a boost to the Superquinn portfolio.
In Clongriffin alone, there are over 900 occupied homes. With the recent opening of the state of the art DART station right outside the shopping centre, complete with ample Park and Ride facilities, we have the perfect access to an even wider population, driving to or hopping off the DART. With many other estates within a short driving distance, the potential customer base in the area is huge.
Already day trippers are arriving by DART to enjoy the Father Collins Park, all of these pass right outside the planned front door of Superquinn. This will bring many other potential customers to your store.
We would like to express our continued interest and support for your planned store. We are your future customers and can bring great value to your brand. With this petition we want to indicate to Superquinn how widespread the support for your future store is.
