Colin Mochrie For Part Of George Jetson In

There is word that Universal Pictures has plans for a live-action movie based on classic animated series "The Jetsons" to possibly begin filming in 2006. It is not completely known at this point who the cast will be, but there are rumours floating around, such as William H. Macy playing George Jetson, Annette Bening playing Jane, etc. Despite these rumours, and hoping that is all they are, I have the perfect suggestion for the part of George Jetson.

COLIN MOCHRIE should be considered for the part of George Jetson in "The Jetsons". I know that most movie companies are a bit wary if the stars of the film aren't big name actors. A movie's appeal should not be based solely on the popularity of the actors. Somebody like Colin Mochrie should be given this chance. I, of course, do not know Colin personally nor how he would feel about this, but I could almost guarantee that he would gladly take a role like this if it was offered to him. Getting a part like this could even be Colin's big break, so to say. It would give him more recognition in American media. He already is quite successful in Canadian media, however. Many people outside of Canada probably haven't seen much of Colin other than on the hilarious "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" If Colin got the part in "The Jetsons" many more people will see his great talent and humour. This could lead to Colin getting parts in more films. Finally, Colin would get the recognition he deserves.
