CORI Reform and Ex Offenders Rights

Ex-Felons are people and would just like to reintegrate back into society and live an honest and upright life with the right to employment without having to check the infamous box, Have you ever been convicted of a felony?"
Not all those who have been convicted are ANIMALS as portrayed by the justice system; therefore some of us need NOT be categorized with revolving door criminals.
There is neither justice nor avenues for ex-felons whom have been convicted, paid there debt to society and lived an honest and upright life, with sobriety and peace?

I believe that if a person committed a crime and/or made a bad decision within their life and has not only paid the consequences, but learned from their past demeanor , then they should indeed be restored ALL civil rights and citizenship WITHOUT any clauses.
This should not be the mindset of ex felons "...I feel as though I've been diagnosed with an untreatable contagious disease for which I MUST BE Quarantined..." written by J. Christie
We the undersigned challenge The State of California legislators and the U.S. Congress for a new law for non-violent, one and/or two time offenders who are not career criminals, revolving doors, nor habitual. We ask that the new law alter penal code stipulations and State legal barriers. A major alteration would be to ban the four-millimeter checkbox from employment application as to afford equal opportunity and reduce recidivism. We urge the State of California to adopt CORI REFORM and legislation as follows:
