Creative has released quite a time ago they X-Fi sound card.
This card would promise great performance, but only when you use windows (and than its still not sure if you get the performance you would expect)
Creative should bring out Linux drivers, because it IS a fair part of the computers users, and to prevent a lot of people from buying other brands of hardware, protect yourself creative
