Re: Resident Petition for Amendment to Garbage Collection in the City Charter
We, the undersigned residents of the City of Savannah, pursuant to Savannah City Code of Ordinances Section 10-2103(b) and O.C.G.A. 36-35-3 (b) (2) (A) hereby move to amend the Savannah City Charter, App. 1 (14) Garbage Collection to add:
In residential portions of the City of Savannah garbage collection shall include single-stream curbside recycling of glass, plastic, aluminum, newspaper and magazines.
I hereby swear that:
1. I have personally or electronically signed this petition inside the boundaries of the City of Savannah;
2. I am a resident and was registered to vote in the last general City of Savannah election;
3. I reside at the address indicated directly following my signature.
