Debate the future of the youth voice of Newham

We call on the newly elected Young Mayor of Newham to have a full debate about the structure of the future youth voice of Newham.

So far the adult Mayor Sir Robin Wales has tried to impose an alternative structure to youth representatives without consultation with the young people in Newham and has disregarded the views of the ofsted rated "outstanding" Newham Youth Parliament.

The youth of Newham should have the decisive say in any structure that is to represent them and we hope the Youth Mayor will help and lead on this.
