I bought the Xbox 360 at launch November 22nd, 2005. Since my purchase I have had to replace the system, controller, headset and even the hard drive! My brother has a system as well and his died on him last month. Tonight my refurbished system they sent back to me back in March, 2006 is dying as well.
I have bought many systems in the past and I also am a computer technician and know proper care for these machines. Every single person I know that has purchased a 360 has had one crap out on them at one point in time. We haven't even had these things a year and they only last an average of 5 months!
Microsoft recently realized that the number of defective systems was higher than they thought before and even offered to reimburse the poor souls that had to pay for repairs after their 90 day warranty was up... but only if you bought the system in 2005. Here it is the next year and THEY ARE STILL CRAPPING OUT!
I'm sick and tired of us consumers getting these recycled pieces of crap back from Microsoft knowing that they are only going to break again. Something must be done. We need a class action lawsuit. We need help.
Together, we can do something about this! Let us be heard instead of playing the role of the silent victims!

The 360 has been a problem after problem...and those geniuses at 4MY-XBOX have been a REAL help. Going on my 4th console now. Should have stuck with Nintendo or Sony.

I Bought my Xbox 360 about 7 months ago and 2 weeks ago it got the red circle of death. Apon research I found Microsoft replaces units manufactured prior to Jan 1. 2006 for free. My defective unit was made on Jan 18th 2006. I had to shell out 169 Canadain

My second console has now died and Microsoft refuses to acknowledge any fault and continue to charge for repairs. This is poor business practice and no one should buy a 360.

I have dealt with 3 systems, the customer service support is unable to help me stating my warranty is up. They have sent me POS after POS, I have a friend who owns a PS3, I just want my money back at this point. This is ridiculous.
