Digimon and Jetix

Have you ever wondered the difference from years ago to the present of today? There could be small things, small as when the seed of a flower was just flying across the wind. They can range from the birth of a new island. Small steps make big events. An example of this big event is the freedom of Digimon rights.

When you were young, you saw Digimon digivolving to ultimate level on Fox Kids. However, it moved to Toon Disney and ABC Family. It's hard enough to know the fact most people don't have Toon Disney. Even some don't have those channels, and Digimon don't exist in their area anymore. As you may have known, the forth season of Digimon did not show at all in the area around UK. Perhaps some can't see Digimon anymore, but what about those who still can?

Years passed and ABC Family changed Digimon to only show on weekends. Later on, the time changed to 7am in the morning. This is concluded as an unimportant show to Jetix because very rare amount kids get up to watch TV at 7am on weekends.

Toon Disney kept up with showing on weekdays and weekends. But this week of June 4th, the time of Digimon changed from 9:30pm, to 11:30pm. This also shows a big weakness in the popularity of Digimon. Truthfully, do you stay up on Tuesday at 11:30pm to watch Digimon? Do your parents even allow you to? Is it fair, that Digimon was replaced by Power Rangers Generations that had an hour worth of episodes just half an hour ago?

Just because Digimon did not have a new season since 2002, and many did not receive a new season since 2001, doesn't mean the remainder of fans is to back down.

Many people say that Digimon is a show for little kids. Who really did? It doesn't matter if you're 20-years-old and still watch Blues Clues. Just because everyone else is growing more mature and watching more reality shows than others, doesn't give them the right to put us down and do what they want us to do. Individuality is important, and your age shouldn't be judged by anything.

Just because Digimon is becoming less popular, doesnt give Jetix the right to replace it with more Power Rangers episodes and move it to unreasonable times. Because Digimon was forgotten, it was not a nominee in the Jetix hero awards. I believe Digimon should be on at useful times, instead of being moved back as a empty, unpopular slot in time.

I believe, I agree, and I tell Jetix, that it is not ok for them to be moving Digimon to these times. Sign this petition of you agree and want Digimon to return to it's normal form.
