To support the BMA in their campaign against another imposed pensions change just 4 years after the last major pensions change, I want the BMA to act against the imposition of CQC registration rather than industrial action that affects patients. We are to have CQC registration imposed on us which we will have to pay for and which will take an enormous amount of bureaucracy and meetings at the cost of time attending to patient care.
Act against yet more political interference with our jobs and ability to care for our patients. There are plenty of existing powers to challenge failing doctors and failing surgeries, why add another layer of protocol filling paperwork to bog us down and scare so many younger doctors into overseas careers.
