We, the undersigned, believe that it would be a serious mistake to cast Beyonce Knowles in the role of Aida in the upcoming film version of Elton John's Broadway show. We understand that using the original Broadway cast of the show might not be as big of an attraction to people who are not familiar with the show, but we do not believe that casting Ms. Knowles in this role would be the right choice. We also believe that there are a great number of fans of the show (or Broadway fans, in general) who would like to see the original Broadway cast of Elton John's Aida return to their roles for the big screen. We, the undersigned, humbly request that you consider trying to use as much of the original Broadway cast of Elton John's Aida as you can for the movie version. At the very least, we humbly ask you to reconsider your choice of an actress in the role of Aida.

I love Beyonce as a singer and the Beyonce Experience concert was AMAZING, but I fell in love with Heather Headley as Aida, and I don't think Beyonce possesses the strength and power that Ms. Headley brought to the character.

The people who would want to see the movie are the fans of the show. I know for that a bunch of people would be turn away due to Beyonce. She is nothing compared to Heather!
