The purpose of this petition is to promote the value of Mr. Don Sevier, an English teacher at El Rancho Charter School. He has been teaching for 17 years and is a favorite among all students, but has recently been replaced. Most rumors about this devious and degrading act revolve around a certain incident that took place during schoolwide testing. However, this was, I repeat, NOT Mr. Sevier's fault. The fact that a certain student chose to cheat was not Mr. Sevier's choice, and some external things are beyond one's control. Now, our beloved Mr. Sevier is not allowed to teach temporarily, or is possibly going to be fired. 17 entire years of dedicated service and hard work to the cause of education, and the school board rewards him with a dishonorable discharge? This is ridiculous, and Mr. Sevier is quite possibly the best teacher everybody has ever had. He is understanding, humorous, knowledgeable, helpful, and above all else, a man who is in all of our hearts. Now, if anyone strongly agrees with this, which everyone should, sign this petition to increase the number of Mr. Sevier supporters. Every signature is a help!
