Duodecimal Comics

Monthly comics have "12" issues a year.

Despite this, comics use the decimal system for numbering and not the more appropriate duodecimal system.

Under the present system, the 5th anniversary of a comic is numbered as issue 60 and the 10th anniversay is numbered as issue 120.

This absurdity evokes 12 months in a year and 360 degrees in a circle!

By adopting the duodecimal system the comic industry will ensure that the 50th issue of a title is the 5th anniversary and the 10th anniversary is issue 100.

We the undersigned here call on the comic industry to adopt the duodecimal system for numbering of all their monthly titles.
