We, the undersigned, endorse the following petition:
EDUCATION TOP PRIORITY IN NEW JERSEY
TO: The Current Governor, Current Senators, Current Assemblymen, and future elected officials for the above positions
We say YES to restoring revenues for the public schools throughout the state of New Jersey. We will not accept the deficits in our childrens educational future. New Jersey Students have a history of high standards in achievement and academic excellence. This history will be lost, due to public education not being a top priority. The forced cut backs on teachers, staff and services is unacceptable. We do not believe our children should suffer from consequences of budget cuts, due to rising tuition from other districts and Charter Schools now being categorized as public schools.
Our children are our most precious resource and the future of New Jersey. We realize we have to protect the rights of our present students and future children entering our school systems. We also have to protect their education as well as their safety, which could be jeopardized by inadequate decision-making by newly elected public officials.
We will not vote for any elected official that does not stand by our standards of top priority education.
