We, the fans and supporters of all Eircom League football teams, demand to know why RTE, the state broadcaster, does NOT have any television programme covering the Eircom League matches transmitted at least once a week.
Even a highlights programme covering all the weeks matches would suffice and we are firmly of the belief that if such a programme was produced in a professional manner it would gain a whole new audience for RTE both here and abroad via the use of television and the internet.

All we're asking for is balanced broadcasting with respect to Irish sport. Eircom league highlights would generate large audiences and would encourage viewers to watch RTE as opposed to foriegn channels
