Erie, PA Curfew JB

I believe that a curfew for Erie, Pennsylvania is not a wise decision. A curfew would take away parental rights. Movie theaters, bowling alleys, and restaurants would lose teenage customers at late hours if this curfew is put in place. Many teenagers also have jobs they depend on, which go into the late hours. This loss of business would further hurt Erie's already struggling economy. Even though children may be out late, it does not mean that they are troublemakers. A curfew would harm Erie's economy as well as take away parental rights, making it a poor choice.
