Excessive Verizon Data Charges

Verizon Wireless charges too much for data, $25 for a measly 5 mb per month and $45 for unlimited. Other carriers, particularly Sprint, have much better deals (only $15 per month for unlimited data). Verizon recently has started charging customers for NA MOU (national access minutes only used) data, many times without notification of the change in billing to customers.

Many Verizon customers do not have the option of switching providers due to contractual relationships with Verizon, dedicated Verizon equipment, relationships with organizations or businesses, etc. and are thus forced to pay these excessive costs.

Verizon needs to reduce data costs to its customers in a manner competitive with other wireless carriers. We propose the immediate reduction of unlimited data from $45 per month to $15 per month. In addition, Verizon must do a better job informing customers of changes in billing practices.

Please, Verizon Wireless, reduce the cost of data to a reasonable level.
