Festival Taurino a beneficio de los Hermanos de la Cruz Blanca

El dнa 12 de abril 2008 en la Plaza de Toros de Huesca (Espaсa) y cuya organizacion corre a cargo de la Asociacion de Empresarios de Comercio de Huesca tendra lugar lo que algunos llaman un festival taurino a beneficio de los Hermanos de la CruzBlanca http://www.cruzblancahuesca.org/

Se trata de la segunda edicion de este festival taurino que entrego a los hermanos franciscanos de la Cruz Blanca un cheque por valor de 6.809 euros fruto de la recaudacion del festival taurino celebrado el 14 de abril de 2007.

Los que dicen ser seguidores de San Francisco de Asнs promueven la tortura y la muerte a cambio de dinero. Podran aducir que esa recaudacion se destinara a obras de beneficencia.

Los religiosos tienen muchos modos de conseguir dinero para fines nobles, pero jamas deberan obtenerlo en base a la tortura, a la muerte y a lo mas miserable de la condicion humana: sentir placer con el sufrimiento ajeno.

Es imposible que podamos detener este vergonzoso acto del 2008 pero si pedir a los Hermanos de la Cruz Blanca que reflexionen de donde procedera el dinero que van a recibir, a la vez que les solicitamos que para el proximo anyo no permitan que se organice otro "festival taurino" en beneficio suyo.

Bull-fighting Festival to Benefit the Brothers of the White Cross


On 12th April 2008, in the bull ring at Huesca (Spain) under the auspices of the Association of Businessmen of Huesca, there are plans to hold what they call a bullfighting festival, with proceeds to go to the Brothers of the White Cross.

This will be the second festival of its kind. On the previous occasion a cheque was presented to the Brothers of the White Cross for the sum of 6,809 euros, as proceeds from the festival held on 14th April, 2007.

Thy call themselves followers of St. Francis of Assisi, but they are promoting torture and death for money. They might allege that the funds will go to charity.

The religious orders collect money for worthy causes in all kinds of different ways, but they should never obtain funds through torture and death, and the worst and lowest of human sentiments finding pleasure in the suffering of others.

We cannot put a stop to this shameful and disgusting event, but what we CAN do is ask the Brothers of the White Cross to sit and think about where the money they receive is coming from, and to urge them next year not to permit another bullfighting festival to benefit them, or to have anything to do with it.
