It is known now that the remake for Final Fantasy VII will be remade. They are going along with it and that is great. Right now it is in the production phase for the PS3. This isnt widely known yet, but I found the information. There is a downside...they will be using the FFXII battle system. FF7 was all about its battle system. Since they are still in the production phase they can still change it. Vote here that they should go back to the old random battle systems and scratch the other idea. If they dont...than just drop FF7 all together because it wouldnt be worth it.
