We would like to register our strong disagreement with and disapproval of any laws likely to be enacted by states of the European Union regarding the prohibition and/or regulation of internet gambling.
- We strongly believe that the governments should not attempt to prohibit online gambling activities by adults.
- We support legislation to favour legalization and regulation of online gambling by the governments.
- We support legislation to safeguard the interests of gamblers against excessive profiteering by gambling providers, national or private.
- We support legislation to safeguard the interests of gamblers as well as gambling providers against fraud and money laundering activities.
- We support legislation to safeguard the integrity of sport.
- We support legislation against the use of illegal drugs by athletes in an attempt to defraud the outcome of sports events.
- We support ideas to counsel the compulsive gamblers and prevent compulsive gambling.
