Give Jesse his Claymore Back

ROCKER Jesse Rae has been stripped of the trademark claymore he has carried in public for 20 years. Sunday Mail
Jesse Rae is a local hero where I used to live in the Scottish Borders, Scotland. He is a proudly Scottish singer/songwriter of the eighties and nineties who is nearly always seen wearing full highland battle dress and wielding a huge claymore sword in his music videos and when you see him walking about the village.
He wrote such hits as Inside Out for Odyssey which got to number 3 in 1981, and of course my all-time favourite songs Chainsaw and Over the Sea.
Jesse was declared bankrupt in 2002 and got into a bit of a tussle with the Royal Bank of Scotland over a 21,000 bank debt from which he is now released. Now the only reason he is back in court is to contest an expenses claim made by his accountant and now the police have confiscated his infamous claymore sword! Could things get any worse?

Hopefully this petition will show the Borders police and the procurator fiscal that Jesse Rae needs his huge chopper to keep on being the legend he is and that no-one can take that away from him, so give it back!
