RE: Acceleration of State Highway 307 traffic signal. Gunderson and Bond Road.
We, the undersigned, are herby petitioning to expedite the installation of a traffic signal at the intersection of Gunderson and Bond Roads.
On December 14, 2004, another fatal accident occurred at the intersection of Gunderson and Bond Road. We, the people, can not wait until the slated completion of October 2006 for a traffic signal to be installed. Thousands of us travel this road daily to and from work and have children who use this route to get to school and this intersection is a "DEATH TRAP"!
The Washington State Department of Transportation identifies this intersection as a (HAC) High Accident Corridor. However, they continue to fund other expansion projects and prioritize these before public safety.
This intersection should have had a light installed at the time of the expansion, yet another person was killed. It was stated that you hope there will be no more accidents until a light is installed at the end of 2006. Too much time has already passed and it is imperative that we get this light project pushed to a top priority ASAP!

I've been thru that intersection many times and it is a very dangers intersection, it's hard to judge traffic approach, the speed is too fast and there is a lot of traffic coming from Gunderson.

that intersection is the most dangers and is in need of a traffic light sooner then 2006 i have had friends get in wrecks there and familey members get in wrecke there please move the date of a traffic light sooner then 2006
