To Whom It May Concern:
We, the members of the International Steering Committee for The Defense of Shaquanda Cotton and all supporters of Shaquanda Cotton respectfully request the above mentioned offices to:
1. Immediately overturn the conviction of Shaquanda Cotton and completely expunge her records.
2. Provide reparations to Shaquanda Cotton and her family for her unjust imprisonment.
3. Release all African children that are currently being held in juvenile prisons for unjust sentences, not only in Texas but nation wide.
4. Provide African centered curriculums and community controlled school boards. Thereby allowing the African communities the democratic ability to hire and fire faculty and staff in schools.
