HAWES Tract Aquatics/Community Center

We the undersigned respectfully request that the Town of Cary build the proposed community and aquatics center in the HAWES tract location. We believe this will be highly advantageous to the communities that surround this area today, the future residents of this high growth area and adjoining areas(RTP, and neighboring counties). We feel this is the best location as it is easy to access, highly visible, has minimal environmental or adjacent property impact, is expandable, can share parking with the retail and schools nearby, and will have a minimal impact on traffic as the area is being built to accommodate high growth for RTP commuters. We also think this location would net higher usage than if it were placed in North Cary (with less than a four mile distance to Bond Park and Herbert Young).
