Help 50 Cent/Save Hip-Hop

Dear Mr. Iovine, Mr. Young, and Mr. Mathers:

We, the undersigned, are fed up with 50 Cent's recent antics. While we enjoy his music, and understand that "battling" is a part of hip-hop, we believe he has gone too far.

The recent shooting outside New York's Hot 97 studio has alarmed us. Although the actual facts that led to the unfortunate event are not known, we are deeply concerned that 50 Cent's battles may escalate and lead to someone's demise.

50's song, "Piggy Bank," and the comments made on recent television, radio, and magazine interviews have led us to believe that he has psychological problems. We understand that he has experienced tragic events in his life, before he became famous. That is why we are asking you to issue Mr. Curtis Jackson an ultimatum: Tell him to seek professional help or discontinue any additional releases from G-Unit Records. Block him from making any more public appearances, unless he agrees to counseling.

In addition, we ask you to prevent him from making any more "diss" records on mix tapes and future albums. If he does not comply, he should be dropped from the label.

We do not want to lose another talented rapper to senseless violence. We believe these actions taken will preserve hip-hop and make it enjoyable for all.
