I have created this petition in an effort to draw attention to a problem facing many families. My husband, to whom I have been legally married to for five years, came to the U.S. illegally. We have applied for a Visa so he can work legally and support his family. He has an interview in Juarez MX. Feb 13. He will be told that he has to stay in Mexico until the I-601 is processed. This could take anywhere from six to nine month, however my attorney just informed me that he has a client that has been there for a year. I have young children, who do not need to be separated from their father. One of them has ADHD, an anxiety disorder and is learning disabled. I have documentation to support that. She does not need to have her life turned upside down. That is not the only problems facing me with him being in Mexico. I cannot pay my rent and all this bills in this home on my own. This is no joke, my kids and I will be homeless. I am an American Citizen, and this is a violation of my rights, and the rights of my children. Please sign this petition and help me bring my husband, and the father of my children home.

I hope this family doesn't have to go through this mess. Another family shouldn't have to be pulled apart because of someone else misunderstanding of the law .
