Honour a selfless sacrifice for humankind

About 1,000 people died in a tragedy of massive proportions that struck a religious observance of Shias in Iraq.
The incident was apparently triggered by rumours of an imminent suicide attack on the ceremony.
We believe that this 19 year old young man represented the good, the divine side of being human, the oneness of man, which alone prompts one to save another in dire trouble, even at the risk of one's own life.
What he achieved was no doubt of heroic proportions, worth to be remembered, honoured, emulated when circumstances so call.
To preserve his memory and commemorate his selflessnes, we request the Government of Iraq to at least take the following actions:
1. Raise a befitting monument to this martyr to the cause of humankind [he is a martyr a by all definitions]
2. To issue a commemorative stamp on his chehlum [40th day of his death]
3. To name a civil award for exceptional bravery after him, to be awarded to others [there will always be others like him, we are certain] who exhibit such exemplary courage in the face of imminent personal danger,
4.And to declare his birthplace a national heritage site, acquiring it from his family at fair price and preserving it suitably
5. Take other steps that are befitting to keep the memory of his selfless sacrifice vibrantly alive
