Dear Shania fans,
Shania Twain has officially left the spotlight in 2005, after she released the latest single off her GREATEST HITS album "I Ain't No Quitter", released her first fragrance "Shania By Stetson" and included a single in the soundtrack of hit ABC dramedy "Desperate Housewives" called "Shoes".
In 2006, Shania was seen back in the spotlight when she performed "Coat Of Many Colors" live to honor Dolly Parton at the Kennedy Center Honors.
In 2007, we got a guest appearance at the ACM Awards in May, a new fragrance in September and a Redbook cover interview in December. She promised an album release in 2008.
2008 was a shocking year for all of us, as Shania and Mutt Lange announced their separation after 14 years of marriage in May. But in June, a letter written by Shania was posted on her official site saying that she thanks us fans for our support and that she will be back. She surprised fans and the industry, once again, in November, as she appeared as a surprise presenter at the 2008 CMA Awards in Nashville.
2009 is here. Shania will be back soon, we miss her so much. Join our I WANT SHANIA club if you are "desperate for NEW Shania" and you really are excited for her new album, hopefully released soon in 2009.
NOTE: This is not something to criticize Shania and her taking a lot of time without releasing an album. We realize that GREATEST HITS was a period of break for her and we understand her problems in her personal life are more important.
