There is recent news regarding SEGA's removal of the current Sonic the Hedgehog game voice actors and replacing them with the voice actors from the cartoon, 'Sonic X'. This is truly disgusting news, on a level that is so low surely you can only be a fan if you hate this news, and then decide to hate Sonic forever because of this. Because hating Sonic for this news means you're a real fan.
But what is even worse is how the ORIGINAL actor for Sonic the Hedgehog has never been given a look in for over 10 years. We are of course, referring to Jaleel White. For those Sonic fans that wish to properly celebrate who the role of Sonic REALLY belongs to, sign this petition which will bring to the attention of SEGA, SONICTEAM, the United States Government and the WWF Panda Organisation that the Game Voice Actors for Sonic the Hedgehog should be handed to the classic cast of the SatAM cartoon series.
Furthermore, sign this petition if you wish to tell SEGA or SONICTEAM that their future games should revolve around only us - the REAL fans. The games should be solely designed and created on what WE want, and that we have the right to complain about it.
This petition is one step towards that goal. Bring back the ORIGINAL SONIC VOICE, Jaleel White, and forget the phony voice actors we've been hearing for the past five years since Sonic Adventure (unless you're a real fan and listened to the Japanese vocals anyway). Because hey, if we can say the Sonic X cast is crap for a game without even hearing them, then surely we can assume the SatAM cast can do a better job than the current voice actors.

I agree with everything I just read; let's show them what we're made of. We should have the right to decide what we want for Sonic the Hedgehog; starting with the voice actors, moving to the video games, and so much more!!!

I really liked the Sega's voice cast of the Sonic characters (save Tails). I was saddened at the release of the Sonic Riders when I heard Sonic sounded different. SEGA shouldn't have just kicked off all their voice casters for the Sonic X one since 4kids
