Julia, Let us decide.

The Federal Government is currently pursuing the implementation of a Carbon Tax. This is a decision which is dividing the country due to comments made by Julia Gillard before the election promising not to bring one in. This petition is designed to give Australian people the opportunity to push for an election on the issue. Only with an election can the Government claim to have a mandate for the tax, if they win the Opposition should support it, if they loose the Government and Independents should accept the outcome. I believe that this is the only way in which the issue can be settled. Please join this petition and let Julia know that Australia wants to have a choice on this issue and the opportunity to decide, through a Federal Election.
