Whereas Antisemitic incidents in Canada reached an all time high in 2003 of 584 incidents, representing a 27\% increase over 2002 and more than double that of 2001; whereas Rochelle Wilner, National President of Bnai Brith Canada has stated that visibly Orthodox Jews have come to see harassment as inevitable; Whereas Jewish students on Canadian college campuses are increasingly harassed and intimidated by anti Israel and anti American elements, without satisfactory attempts by Canadian authorities to provide protection and to put an end to the abuse; Whereas the Canadian Consul to Israel refused to pay a condolence call to the home of murdered Canadian citizen Chezi Goldberg because his wife and children live in the West Bank, even though Canadian Foreign Minister Bill Graham visited terrorist Yasser Arafat in Ramallah; and whereas Canada has been, in many ways, largely uncooperative in regards to the US led coalition effort to liberate Iraq while becoming a major destination transit point and safe haven for terrorist operatives and sympathizers within its own borders:
We, the undersigned, pledge to not travel to Canada for vacations or business and to not buy Canadian goods or services until such time as Canada adopts a demonstrably more positive attitude toward Israel and the United States.
