Justice for the victims of Nithari killings

Dear Sir,

This petition is to request you to direct the government to take appropriate action against the perpetrators of the most heinous crime ever committed in the country, that of brutally murdering innocent children at Nithari.

Even as we shudder at the thought of the pain and torture that the hapless children had to undergo, our heart bleeds for the kith and kin of the victims who have been patiently waiting for justice to be meted out to them.

But what has indeed become a national shame is the callous attitude of the law enforcers and the glaring loopholes in the Indian judicial system. The slow progress in solving the case has eventually led to tampering of evidences and with the latest developments the stage seems set for the criminals to walk free.

In a country where the media focuses primarily on entertainment and the political scene ensures a new conundrum everyday, the value for human life has deteriorated and the belief of the common man in the law has all but vanished.

Your intervention at this point in time in ensuring a capital punishment for the monsters of Nithari would help reinforce our respect for the law and help us continue to keep our heads high when we salute our national flag.
