As you know, the part of Mackenzie Browning who is played by Ashley Bashioum of the Young and The Restless, is being recast. As a loyal fan of the Billy and Mac story line, I would hate to see this talented actress leave the show. By signing this petition, your signature will play a big part of making a valuable attempt to keep Ashley on Y&R. It was not yet specified as to why the actress is leaving, but this is a way her supporting fans can speak out to show how much we have appreciated and learned to love the character she has portrayed as "Mac" for the past years.
Many people have become regular and supporting viewers of Y&R because of the Billy and Mac story line. This adds to the success and popularity of the show. Many have stated their feelings about this action being taken and have commented on how they will no longer be able to watch the show if either of the original characters were suddenly replaced.
If this was initially her idea, then at least she will know exactly how many fans she has and how much we've appreciated her talent on Y&R! Let's hope this will impact the decision making if infact it was inflicted by someone other than Ashley herself.
