WE, the undersigned parents and members of the Frank Fowler Dow School #52 community are requesting that the Rochester City School District continue to allow 4 days of music instruction at our school. Currently, we are in danger of having our valued music teacher, Christine Manuele, work a modified schedule which will result in a .5 day reduction of music instruction. While that may seem a minor adjustment, her current schedule just barely covers the required number of hours that our children are to receive in music education. Studies have proven that instruction in the Arts greatly enhances the quality of our students lives. Considering this, please keep Christine Manuele at our school for 4 days.
