The purpose of this petition is for Sprint to fix the LG PM-325. It doesn't make sense that a modern Bluetooth phone would lack OBEX. Sprint also did not note on the box that the phone did not have the common standard of OBEX removed as a non-function on the box. OBEX is a very vital part of Bluetooth technology where as you can wireless sync your contacts and other information with your PC or other Bluetooth enabled phones and devices like on-board address books of cars with the Bluetooth system. Sprint released the T608 in small supply with OBEX so why omit it from their next Bluetooth phone? Currently all GSM carriers fully support OBEX protocol. Sprint has two other Bluetooth phones that support OBEX the Treo 650 and PPC-6600 so why cripple it on the LG PM-325.
