Research has proven that reducing vehicle speeds to 40km/h or less significantly reduces the level of injury if a child is struck by a vehicle.
The safety of our children must be a priority. Please sign this petition to support a mandatory 40km/h speed limit past our schools. We are specifically targeting schools within the Invercargill City Council jurisdiction.
