Make Facebook groups and pages safer.

We would like Facebook to make the groups safer for people to use, there are many groups that are offensive , aimed at certain people , pornographic etc that shouldnt be on Facebook at all.Children sign up to the social networking site and these groups are all over the home pages for inocent people to see .
We dont want the groups stopped just better mannaged .
This is what we are asking Facebook to do .......
* Make any group / page that gets set up go through authorisation from the Facebook team before it goes live to say that its fit for Facebook users (and the innocent children and youngsters that use it )
* If the name of the group is to be changed then again facebook need to authorise the name change .
* if a group / page/ comment / picture / profile has more than 10 complaints , then Facebook should have a set time of 24 hours to deal / investigate the complaints
* Facebook also need to regulate the content of the groups .
All we are asking is for a safer site .

In light of the recent bad publicity this site has been receiving in relation to cyber bullying etc, I think you need to take this petition seriously before Facebook gets closed down or worse dealt with by the Police.

Facebook is open to a wide variety of abuse and it needs a little more regulation. But not too much.
