Dear New Jersey residents,
The New York Giants have played in our state for a good number of years now, and it is absolutely ridiculous that the team name refuses to acknowledge the Garden state.
Every professional sports team that moves from one city/state to another modifies its name to fit the specific region. In MLB, the Philadelphia Athletics moved to Kansas City, MO, and they changed their name.
The name change would benefit the state, by giving us the recognition we deserve for hosting a good professional sports team and would therefor improve our reputation.
