No to Xenophobic Attacks in South Africa

Currently, South Africa is experiencing an extreme wave of xenophobic hate crimes. The perpetrators are largely marginalised South Africans, who attack refugee Africans living in the township areas. Many refugees are families; fathers, mothers and children, who fled to South Africa from persecution in their own countries. Now, they are forced to flee again with their children in hand, and on foot. Numerous refugees are from countries that once played host and offered sanctuary to South Africas current elite.

Apart for a few weak responses, elected leadership has failed to address these crimes publicly and forcefully. Africans, North, South, East, West, have suffered blood curdling violence for far too long, to allow ignorant and opportunistic members of society to portray South Africa as a xenophobic nation.

Please sign this petition to say no to XENOPHOBIA, NO TO HATE CRIMES. And to encourage South Africas leadership to act like worthy, elected leaders.

Amandla!
