Nuclear Professionals in North America Support Indo-US Nuclear Deal

We, the nuclear professionals of North America, lend our voice in support of the Indo-USA nuclear deal, because India needs nuclear power plants and the USA is the largest supplier of nuclear technology and resources. India has a deficit for electrical energy and nuclear projects will satiate this energy needs which in turn will increase the growth rate of industrialization in the country.

We sincerely thank Mr. Buddhadeb Bhattacharya, the chief minister of West Bengal and Mr. Jyoti Basu, veteran politician and the former chief minister of West Bengal for their support of nuclear energy as a source of clean energy for power generation and the concurrent industrialization drive in West Bengal.

We, the undersigned, are now campaigning for a peaceful end of the nuclear debate between the political parties and urge them to support the deal and facilitate the development of nuclear power in India. We will be more than happy to assist in this development effort.
