Oppsosed to Bylaw C13-18 SouthPointe Neighbourhood Service District Redistricting

 

Dear Sienna Neighbors,   Stantec Consulting Ltd. on behalf of SouthPointe Estates Inc. is proposing to redistrict lands in the SouthPointe community at the future intersection of 94 Street and SouthPointe Boulevard. Legal Description: Part of NW 20-54-22 W4   This proposal would redistrict lands from Urban Reserve (UR) to Direct Control Administration        (DC(A)-10). This would allow for the development of a neighbourhood level commercial site in accordance with the approved Southfort Area Structure Plan. We are against the bylaw C13-18 due to the negative impact it will have on our neighborhood.   Reasons for objections:
⦁ Children safety as they will have to pass directly through area to attend and Elementry/Jouniour high school
⦁ Increased traffic flow (personal and commercial)
⦁ Potential rise of neighborhood crime
⦁ Increased noise for residents in this area
⦁ Rezoning of the this area will go against the reason most of bought our homes in this area.   If you are in agreement, please let your voice be heard and sign this petition.
