We, the undersigned, call for the Plymouth-Canton Schools Board of Education to take immediate action to move all future school board elections from May to November to reduce costs and increase voter turnout for these elections. We call for these changes to be implemented as necessary to make them effective for the next school board election in 2008.

I have never understood why you want to foot the cost of having the election in May, instead of November. Do we really have that much extra money in the district? I don't think so!

This just makes sense. No matter if you are liberal or conservative, this will allow more people to vote, and save the school district money at the same time. This will probably save enough money to keep at least one teacher per year. Why not do it?
